Prairie View weathers the Flood of 2016

Our heartfelt thought and concern go out to the residents and families who have been affected by the recent torrid rain which flood some of our neighborhoods. We are grateful that there was no loss of life in the area. The hardest hit area in the city was Ruby Street and with help of Prairie View Volunteer Fire Fighters and emergency management’s help the residents were taken to safety, where loved ones came by to retrieve them. All is not bad because Tuscan Gardens on 30291 FM 1488, Waller, Texas is providing much needed assistance to residents of the area. Please call Alecia Grayson if you need any assistance at 281-899-9732. Also let us look on the bright side, we needed the rain though some would say, “not that much!” Just remember the old adage “April Showers, Bring May Flowers,” so let’s be grateful.
