Moriah is a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana and a graduate of Carmel High School where she participated in track and field. Her career ambition is to become a Licensed Architect and to use her skills to help low income communities thrive.
Some of her Awards and Achievements include Dean’s List, National Honors Society of Collegiate Scholars member, Miss Black & Gold- Epsilon Tau Lambda 2016-2017, Miss Black & Gold (TCAC)- Miss Texas Gold, Miss Prairie View A&M University 2017-2018, Group Fitness Instructor of the Year and Deans Hallmark Award. In her spare time she participates in various organizations and community activities like Community Service Chair for P.W.A.P (Panther With A Purpose); MELANIN and AGC (Associated General Contractors )member, and attends Prairie View All Faiths Chapel Bible Study.
During her reign as Miss Prairie View A&M University, her platform is “Build a Better Future” where she plans on educating others on the false stigmas of homelessness and help students who are homeless or at risk of becoming so. Her own experience of being homeless gives her a profound understanding of the difficulties people endure without being provided adequate housing for their families. As a future architect she will continue to implement her platform in the workforce.
Part of her paying it forward she plans on assisting women's shelters and advocating for affordable housing to prevent and decrease the number of homelessness for women and children.
