Pastor Averri T. LeMalle is Speaker for Men's Prayer Breafast at St. Francis of Assisi

The Men of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church extends an invitation to men of the community to its Monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall of the church, 204 Dooley Street. Please confirm at 936-857-3272 or email: stfrancispv@sbcglobal.net.

The speaker is Pastor Averri T. LeMalle, Teaching Pastor at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston. As the Teaching Pastor he preaches and teaches in worship venues on Sundays and Wednesdays, rotationally serving all campuses and ministering to the entire congregation. Throughout the week, he serves in Pastoral Care, Leadership Development, and Community Outreach. Averri grew up, not only as the grandson and nephew of pastors but with a sense of personal call to ministry.

He developed a Love for Christ at a young age, and his call to preaching ministry grew in tandem with his Christian growth and development under the Lordship of Christ. Ministry was an inevitable destiny.

Prior to joining the team at Champion Forest in December of 2013, Averri served as an Associate Pastor of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA, where he was mentored by Dr. Fred Luter, Jr. Following his tenure at Franklin Avenue, he served as a senior pastor in Pineville, LA for seven years.

Life-long learning is Averri’s commitment as he seeks to increase in biblical knowledge and theological insight. He is a graduate of Caskey School of Divinity, Louisiana College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where his primary training was in Pastoral Ministry with a focus on Psychology and Counseling. Additionally, he has studied as a Theological Education Fellow (FTE) at Vanderbilt University, Hampton University, and Liberty Theological Seminary.

Averri is committed to excellence in Bible study, preaching, teaching, and Christ-like living. He has a passion for ministering across demographics through the development of personal relationships with the focus on helping each individual develop a personal relationship and commitment to Christ. He believes that we are placed together in our service to the Kingdom to champion God’s will being done “on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Averri and his wife, Kionna, have been married for more than twenty years. From their heavenly union were born four manifestations of love: three sons and one daughter, Averri II, Kiondré, Travonté, and Janae.

Members of the community are also invited to attend the weekly Bible Study on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship service at 11:00 a.m. Contact: stfrancispv@sbcglobal.net or 936-857-3272.
