The Panthers open the season against arch-rival Texas Southern on Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. for the Labor Day Classic in search of their sixth-straight win over the Tigers. This marks the first time since 2017 that Prairie View A&M will begin the campaign at home, and it will be the first time since 2016 that the Panthers open the season against TSU. The game is the 76th all-time meeting between the sides.
"I'm very excited about this one, and it's going to bring a sense of normalcy back," PVAMU Head Football Coach Eric Dooley said. "The nation's at a standstill right now with this terrible pandemic going on, but I have faith in God that it's all going to work out for the better not only for Prairie View A&M, but for the rest of the country as well. I'm looking forward to getting our rivalry cranked back up to start the year." Click here more story
