A VIEW FROM THE HILL: The 2018 Homecoming for PVAMU family is now history. The weeklong festivities was October 21-27 and included many activities for some 30K students, alumni and friends from a spirit filled Gospel Fest, Special Memorial Service, King and Queen's Ball and the Mr. & Miss Prairie View A&M University reunions, Homecoming Concert, the Stage-breakers Step Show, parade and the football game with the Panthers and the Alcorn University Braves. Unfortunately the Panthers fell to Alcorn. The tailgating area provided a great opportunity for old friends to meet and share in the festivities. One of the highlights for yours truly was chatting with alumnae Loni Love, Emmy Award winning Talk Show Host on the Real, comedienne, actress and engineer. Loni was a former student leader and activities producer during her time at Prairie View A&M University.
