The Men’s Breakfast Team at St. Francis of Assisi is pleased to announce the return of the Men's Prayer Breakfast on October 15, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall at the church on 2000 Phillip Street in Prairie View, after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The free breakfast
The speaker for the event is Dr. Glenn E. Berry, Medical Director, Owens-Franklin Health Center at Prairie View A&M University.
Dr. Berry is long-time resident of Prairie View and he attended Waller High School and upon graduation matriculated to and became a graduate of the North Texas State University. Following graduation he entered the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio's Joe and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his medical residency at Medical School & Residency at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York from 1984-1987. He is a certified and licensed physician in the state of Texas and his specialties include Family and Internal Medicine. Dr. Berry has more than 35 years of experience as a primary physician to students at the University and members of the local community.
Dr. Berry is married to Debra Berry and they have three children, Dr. Nicole Gutierrez (MD), Dr. Jessica Dever (MD) and Andre’ (Business Owner), and four grandchildren.
The team is grateful that the COVID-19 conditions have changed and look eagerly looks forward to an exciting event, while adhering to the relaxed protocols of the CDC and the church. In hosting the event, all attendees are required to wear masks. Also, due to limited seating space, all attendees are asked to CONFIRM ATTENDANCE to stfrancispv@sbcglobal.net.
