Inaugural Prairie View Blackberry Festival: May 16, 2026

PRAIRIE VIEW, TX — The Blackberry Festival of Prairie View debuts Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at City Hall (44500 US Business 290). Sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. — Prairie View Alumnae Chapter, this inaugural event celebrates local culture and heritage.

Highlights Include: Live Music: Headliners Brown Sugar at 5:30 p.m. and B.I.G at 8:00 p.m. Food: Diverse vendors and signature blackberry treats and pie contest. Family Fun: Children’s bounce house and activities.

Free entrance/Parking $10.00.
